About Work:
In these works, I am interested in the larger cultural context and status of utilitarian objects. I refer to such objects as 'commonplace artefacts'. I further alter their context within which we view these artefacts/objects. These works investigate the inherent artificiality and duality in the world. I view these objects through a political and socio-cultural lens.
